I was thinking of buying 1000msp for some DLC so I want to get Bring Down The Sky for ME 1 and one of the two I mentioned in the question. I'd just like to know without mentioning the plot, which one did you prefer playing? I heard Arrival leads into ME 3 but the Shadow Broker has more cheevos...Which Mass Effect 2 DLC to pick: Shadow Broker or Arrival?
Shadow Broker, the decisions you make in Arrival does not affect Mass Effect 3 at all as you will have the same ending. Also by completing the shadow broker you will probably have a good bonus to the outcome of Mass Effect 3 but I won't spoil the plot.
Hard pick. I would have to say Shadow Broker, though Arrival has a lot more to do with the main plot.
Just a warning with Arrival if you don't know already. Shepard will be at it alone, no squad members. Also if you're going for achievements. Arrival has one of the hardest achievements in the game.Which Mass Effect 2 DLC to pick: Shadow Broker or Arrival?
If you want a full ME experience then get everything... Arrival will make the start of ME3 a lot better because you have more plot line to with. If you're just after achievements and not overly concerned with the story, Go with Shadow Broker
I've heard that Lair of the Shadow Broker is the best out of the DLC - so much so many fans don't know why it wasn't included in the main plot (especially for those players who like Liara).Which Mass Effect 2 DLC to pick: Shadow Broker or Arrival?

Mass Effect 2: Overlord or Arrival?
I will be buying one of them and I am having a hard time choosing,
so which is the better dlc out of the two?Mass Effect 2: Overlord or Arrival?
Overlord, by far.
Arrival is the weakest of the three main DLC packs (Lair of the Shadow Broker being the best).
Arrival is the bridge between ME2 and ME3 and the very first scene of ME3 is a direct continuation of that mission. The DLC itself is canon. If you start ME3 and you haven't played Arrival it will still assume that the events from Arrival really happened. There is no choice in this DLC so it's the same for everyone.
Overlord is not canon. It's an extra mission and I think ME3 will ignore it if you haven't played it. The gameplay, atmosphere and storyline are in my opinion better than Arrival. You have to make an important choice that may influence ME3, though since it's DLC that influence may be minor.
My ratings of the DLC packs:
Lair of the Shadow Broker: 9/10
Overlord: 8/10
Arrival: 5/10

What do you think about warcraft 3 frozen throne human race?
First i want to say that i am a 3v3 player. I like the feeling of many people playing the same game and having an unpredictable outcome. I think human race are quite nerf in the newest patch dated 25/6/2011.
The only units i like about human are their peasant, militia and water element. Peasant can use cooperative building to build lumbermill and town hall which can really increase the resources. Although slow in movement speed, Water element have a high attack and high HP. Structure-wise i like their lumbermill and town hall. Lumbermill have high HP of 900 for only 100gold which allow peasants to harvest wood anywhere. Town hall have a high HP of 1500. Human main strength are very fast expansion speed and high HP for building with masonry upgrade.
That are the strength, let's move on to the weakness. I like massing footmen or riflemen, and my teamate often mock at me for having weak units, but to be honest i think human units are generally weak and need lots of gold and wood in order to get better ones or upgrade them.
Let's start off with heroes. Mountain king have a laughable movement speed of average compare while the benchmark movement speed is fast. Paladin's devotion aura is crappy compared to death knight's unholy aura and it's holy light can only damage undead units and heroes. Bloodmage have a low attack and his flame strike does weak area effect damage and doesn't affect buildings; his ultimate-phoenix is very weak for an ultimate. Archmage ultimate-teleport have a tiny range which is no practical when in the midst of attacking base.
For units, let's begin with tier 1. Their footman are weak compared to grunt, they have even lower attack then ghoul. Their riflemen are weak compared to archer, which have ability like elune grace and have a longer range.
In tier 2, Steam tank does not have their missile ability till tier 3 and their have slow movement speed. They are unable to attack units too. Flying machine are just a joke with their low HP and initial inability to attack land units. Mortar team have low HP and are not comparable to Demolisher. Human spellcaster are pathetic also; their healing and buff are nothing compared to bloodlust and healing ward. Spellbreaker seldom come into use as buff are rare in team games. Dragonhawk ensnare can be easily counter by crypt field's web and dragonhawk have low HP and low attack for a tier 2 units.
Their knight are feeble compare to tauren, and they have the lowest HP for tier 3 units. Gryphon are weak compare to frost wrym and needs the hammer upgrade to be even practical.
What do you think about my opinions? What do you think about warcraft 3 frozen throne human race?
Honestly, i did not spend time to read your whole essay on humans. I like human, but any race has the ability to counter just about anything. Priests mortars knights was always what i went. I liked paladin hero the most, creepin and aura were nice early games, tower rushing is also pretty fun with humans. Disagree with the gryphon frost wyrm fact. Frosties are hard to mass in a pinch, plus they cost alot. In short humans can be very good, specially in team matches. They would not be my go to 1v1 race but i would always random.

My pets rat was diagnosed with staph, and now I think I have ringworm and he seems sicker...?
I bought 2 pet rats from Petsmart about 3 weeks ago. The younger one developed scabs and scaly patches of skin on his back, so I took him to the vet about a week ago. They took skin scrapings from the effected areas and diagnosed him with staph. He has an oral and a topical cream twice daily, and it seemed that he was improving. Although he was losing hair, the scabs were healing and he seemed to be gaining strength.
Around the time I took him to the vet I developed a circular rash on my right hand where he had scratched me when picked up. It has since grown, and is pinkish in color. There are tiny raised bumps that can be popped, and it looks like ringworm. I have a few other rashes on the back of my neck where they scratched me, and on my stomach where I scratched myself after holding them.
He is now looking incredibly sick. His stomach looks very bloated, as if all of his body mass has shifted down. His spine and ribs are easily felt despite this bloating, and he seems in pain. He limps and appears confused and lethargic. He will not eat, but has drank quite a bit of water.
I'm not sure what to make of it. For one, could the vet have misdiagnosed him, saying he had staph when he really had ringworm which he passed to me? And should I continue to give him his meds tonight considering the current state he is in? Also, his cage-mate appears completely healthy, and shows no symptoms, should I be treating him as well?My pets rat was diagnosed with staph, and now I think I have ringworm and he seems sicker...?
Sorry, I wish I could help but I really don't know. I had a similar problem with my two rats and I didn't know what to do so sorry but I guess I would just say ask your vet?
