Before I say anything, I will note that I saw in a previous question in which you answered you said you work at gamestop, so why wouldn't you know?
Now, coming from an actual employee (2 years running), I'll answer for you.
Yes, you can use your trade in credit for whatever you want. You can pay part trade in credit, part cash, however you want to do it.
As for getting the Blood Dragon armor that is done only if you previously owned and registered with Bioware, Dragon Age Origins. By using the registration code for DA:O on your registered EA account linked with bioware(if you don't have one create one first using the email you use for your gamertag, linking your gamertag to it), you can then log into ME 2 (make sure to register your copy of ME2 as well on the site once you pick it up again) and receive a message from the Illusive Man about how to get your Blood Dragon Armor.
But if you don't have DA:O you'll have to buy it, brand new in order to receive a valid code for the armor.
in the end though, yes you can use your trade in credit for whatever you want. All on the same transaction to, just have them ring everything up and tell them you want to pay the 21.59 in cash and then the rest in trade in credit.
Edit-and to whoever keeps trying to give thumbs down, you really don't know what you're talking about.
1st off to one responder, We do infact sell DLC for both ps3 and Xbox 360. We sell it via a code printed on the bottom of the receipt with instructions on how to redeem it. It comes out in the same format as when we print out the preorder bonus codes. You'll also find the Power up reward members both pro and basic get chances every now and then to Pre purchase...pre order select DLC (like we have done with both CoD BO Escalation and Annihilation, and Halo Reach's first map pack) and sometimes give a little extra with doing so (usually double reward points, an avatar item, etc).
2nd, anyone who thinks the Blood Dragon Armor comes from anything other than DA:O really should learn to read, or at least brush up on the Bioware website.
And 3rd if you want to give thumbs down because I called him out on the Gamestop thing, you can see where he said it under his answers at the Call of Duty question about getting the WaW zombie packs for black ops.At Gamestop Can i buy this DLC along with Trade credit.?
No, blood dragon armor is only for the entering the registration code for Dragon Age Origins. You can't buy DLC from Gamestop though. You can use credit though to buy MS points, which you can then buy the DLC's with. Pretty much the same thing. At Gamestop Can i buy this DLC along with Trade credit.?
I don't know if you can pay with trade cards for DLC. But you can give it a try.
But I don't think that 50 cents is enough for DLC. Gamestop will probably ask you to pay about 15 to 20$ for a code.
