Prince of persia 2008 slowdown issues?

in prince of persia 2008 or 4 ..for pc the game runs smooth on any setting until elika becomes visible i have a pentium 4 2.8 ghz with 1.5gb Ram and a 256mb nvidia geforce 8400gs...i know ... its a weak pc but the slowdowns only occur when she is on the screen is there any patch or fix for this..please help..oh yeah this pc can run mass effect 2 real nice so it cant just be the pcPrince of persia 2008 slowdown issues?
Prince of Persia and Mass Effect 2 run on different engines. Being able to run Mass Effect 2 can't guarantee a good performance in Prince of Persia, especially since the geforce 8400 GS is far below the system requirements of both games*. So yeah, it's just the PC. If you buy a game and your PC doesn't meet the requirements you can expect this sort of problems.



* Prince of Persia and Mass Effect 2 both support the Geforce 6800 and higer. The Geforce 8400 GS may be a newer card, but the '400' means it's an entry level business class card. It's much slower than the 6800, which was a high end card when it first came out.Prince of persia 2008 slowdown issues?
This thing happened to me also i have a core 2 duo 2.89 ghz processor a 2 gb ram and nvidia 8400 512 mb graphics card.But when i lowered the resolution a bit and the details and graphics level a bit it became smooth.Try may be it will work for you too.
