Ok i was just wondering since by the looks of the new "Arrival" DLC for Mass Effect 2 looks like it will effect the story of Mass Effect 3 i am thinking on getting it. The thing is i was just wondering if i download it do i have to beat the game in order to access it (since it takes place a few day/months later after Mass Effect 2)? But thing is, if i bought that DLC and i have already beaten Mass Effect 2, does that mean i have to start another playthrough in order to play it (like you had to in Mass Effect 1) or will it be in the title screen where i can just play it on the spot? Please help me on this, i haven't beaten Mass Effect 2 yet, i am just using this for future reference so i won't have to go through a whole other playthrough.Downloadable Content in Mass Effect 2?
You should get all of the DLC's for mass effect 2. I know I am. There all good and I'm pretty sure it will effect the story of mass effect 3. Every chose you make matters, but about the arrival DLC. I haven't gotten it yet but I think you will you will have to beat the game first because it takes takes place a little bit after the mass efect 2 story. So you probably won't have to start a new game to play it. But just in case why don't you download the trailer for a little more detail about itDownloadable Content in Mass Effect 2?
you can play arrival at anypoint after the horizon mission, so you don't have to beat it first....
if you want the other DLC that will probably have an impact on ME3 (IMO) i'd say overlord and shadow broker....
you make choices in each of them that seems like it would have an impact
