Having problems with Mass Effect 1 on the PC?

For some reason I can't play the game. The game start up fine but after I click play, the image appears and nothing happens. Here's my specs:

2048 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory



Plus I've installed all of the patches. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?Having problems with Mass Effect 1 on the PC?
You're gonna have to post more specs than just the processor and amount of RAM. The most important component is the graphics card. You should post the model number and then I will edit my answer with a possible fix.



To find out what graphics card you have, press windows logo (on keyboard) + R and a dialog box should open. Type dxdiag and then press enter. The graphics card should be under the 'display' tab.
